Untitled #3

As a film still from Pasolini's 'La Ricotta', this is an image of the character Stracci, who works as an extra (as a crucified thief) on a film about the life of Christ. After numerous attempts (and final success) to gorge the 'free food' on set, Stracci actually dies from a fatal indigestion during the filming of the crucifixtion.

NO!!! That's nuts! and really bad luck.

Did they have to get another guy in or did they still use the guy with indegestion.

It's really awful. But one of my friends back home has this thing about ways to go. They said they would rather 'go' in a notorious manner (exciting way) rather then falling asleep in a chair. Stracci seems to have kept it even, i mean its pretty excentric to pass away while on a crucifix! but because of indegestion!? Its a really rather morbid subject. But nonetheless a subject.

Sarah, it was actualy part of the film 'plot' so to speak, a film of the making of a film about Christ.

Pasolini got into quite alot of trouble over the making of it apparently (see the Pasolini link) but if you want to see it, check with David Wilkinson as he has a copy.

My previous attempt at Pasolini was 'Salo' and I can assure you, it's just too much, even for a pervert like me with a cast iron stomach!
